t-GEIS PROJECT STATUS
UPDATE

The Town of Ithaca Planning Board (the lead agency) completed its adequacy review of the Draft transportation-focused Generic Environmental Impact Statement (t-GEIS) at its July 15 meeting, and passed a resolution stating that the document is adequate (ready) for public review. The Board also scheduled a public hearing for September 16, where it will receive comments on the document. Comments also can be submitted to the Town Planning Board any time during the public review period.
The t-GEIS team currently is incorporating modifications requested by the Board during adequacy review, and printing final draft documents. Copies of the final draft document will be available for public review in the following locations, beginning August 1:

- City of Ithaca Planning Department
- Cornell’s Olin Library
- Cornell’s Mann Library
- Ithaca College Librar
